John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I witness almost daily,
To folk out in the street,
And try to bring some happiness,
To every one I meet.

I sit in Peter’s café,
And patiently I wait,
Then someone comes and sits by me,
They do not know their fate.

A word or two about the weather,
That will start it going,
And gradually you speak of God,
Without them even knowing.

Even in the supermarket,
In with all the beans,
There’s someone there who needs a word,
When you’re finished you’re near the cream.

The Lord just places me where I’m supposed to be,
On a train or on a bus they’re all there can’t you see,
And so I take the message of God and all his love,
To hope that someone somewhere will look up to above.
