John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Baubles hanging on the Christmas tree,
Children’s faces lighting up with glee,
Santa Claus is in all big stores,                                                                                                      Please said a tot what can I have I’m only four?

Mum’s buying turkey also Christmas pud,
Father’s with his pals down the local pub,
Christmas Eve arrives kids are going dotty,
Smallest one of all sitting on the potty.

Lemonade chocolate treats happy music on cds,
As time goes on we’re sent upstairs to go to sleep,
While Santa creeps into the bedroom,
While we’re fast asleep.
Daybreak comes we’re all woken up,
In the sack presents galore,
Under the tree there are even more,
Christmas dinner whooping tea left over for Grandma.

But all this celebration is for a birthday boy,
That came on earth and never had a toy,
just a simple stable and a manger small,
The one who is King of kings and reigns over all.

His name is Jesus Christ the one who saves our souls,
Whose love gets so much stronger as the year unfold,
So let us dance rejoice and sing,
And praise a great almighty King,
Let’s celebrate His birthday anyway we can,
It’s then we see the simplicity of man.
