I’m on the Mississippi steam boat,
Having a whale of a time,
Drinking Love on the Rocks,
So it goes down in rhyme.
I’ve had a few ciders to help things along,
In a minute I may break out in song,
We’ve had a good time my friend and I,
And that aint really telling a lie.
Our love’s getting stronger,
And stronger each day,
I don’t know what will happen,
When we get into May.
We’re enjoying ourselves,
A great time we have,
The only trouble my mate,
Goes off to the lav.
But every now and again you’ve got to let it out,
It’s no good carrying on nor give out a shout,
Just go to the loo that’s the thing to do,
At the end of the day our love will run true.
