John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Take a walk across the park,
Listen to the birds that sing,
Telling us that spring is here,
As we’re in another year,

Willow trees that hang their heads,
Over the river’s sloping edge,
New life everywhere you look,
Sit on the bench and read a book.

Reading interrupted a squirrel goes running past,
And close by from the water you see a baby rat,
Continuing on your journey there is a dog or two,
Who are getting kind of frisky just like me and you,
New buds upon the bushes birds nests made in the rushes,
A busy time of year it brings us all good cheer,
It brightens up our lives even seeing a bee hive,
The snails are unwinding from their shells oh what a tale a park can tell.
