John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The river’s running on and boats flow with the tide,
Pleasure steamers standing by to give the folk a ride,
The south bank’s full of love,
There’re boys on skateboards daily.

And sitting on a seat a man kisses is wife,
One lad’s fallen off and arm made scaly,, thames
But there is something about the Thames,
That draws you like a magnet.

You stare and stare the swell seems nearer,
Should you fall in there’d be a magnet,
Upon the bridge a train runs by,
Up above there’s a sunny sky.

Top of the stairs a tramp in a blanket,
Begging for money so he can bank it,
Looking beyond you can see St. Paul’s,
Standing so proud and over all.

There’re visitors galore,
To see our famous landmarks,
And when they want to have a rest,
They go into the big parks.
