John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I’ve been put on a diet,
They said you must lose weight,
The first thing that you have to do,
Is to have less on the plate,

Lots of greens bags of fruit,
No fatty stuff at all,
You’ll find it when you first start,
And climb right up the wall.

Can’t have any chocolate,
Nor can you have cake,
Think about them when asleep,
But not when you’re awake,
No pigging out at midnight,
Stuffing out your face,
Go to sleep have a rest,
And dream you’re out in space.

Jogging in the park,
Running round the block,
Taking off the inches,
To get in a frock,
The weigh scales tells you 2 lb gone,
Oh it’s really working,
I’ll just keep right on going,
Exercising and jerking.

Very slowly fat declines,
Dresses are now smaller,
looking good feeling great,
Walking that much taller,
After a while,
You get fed up with greens,
Decide to have a change or two,
Like chocolate in between.

A stone has gone it’s been hard work,
And still I keep on trying,
When going by the fish shop,
You smell the chips a frying,
Just keep clear never fret,
There’s lots of other things,
An apple or an orange is better than a chip,
Then you can go along the road and fell that you’re on wings.
