John 3: 16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

As the dawn is breaking and folk are waking up,
They put on the kettle and have their favourite cup,
It’s egg and bacon breakfast time,
For dinner meat and veg and some cheap wine.

It’s off to work in greatest style,
On the bus or train or even a bike ride,
The day wears on your brain aint straight,
You know you wont be home till late.

When home you get into the bath,
You lose the soap and have a laugh,
Cause soap is slippy when in water,
And sometimes goes where it shouldn’t oughter.

Dinner’s eaten telly looked at,
Time for bed and cuddle closer,
Going to sleep is what we do,
Spray comes out if we get the flu.

What a day oh what a chore,
Tomorrow we will get some more,
Same old thing week in week out,
But then that’s what life is all about.
