 "2 I like piano playing and hope to take part time classes in piano and music composition at the university. I have 8 children, 5 in their twenty's. My wife and I have been officially married for 29 years but she is divorcing me. (she has been doing this for the last 4 years so I really don't know what's going on).

In 2002 I had my first emotional breakdown and since then I have been dealing with challenges that major depression brings with it. Of the last 6 years I have been in a psych hospital 5 times. I am being somewhat candid about this because if I had known more about mental illnesses and that it is (or shouldn't be), not a shame to recieve psychiatric care. If I had gotten treatment 30 years ago, there wouldn't be so many hurting people in my family.

Anyway, I'm trying to be a better listener and this place seems like a good place to get some practice! "3
